The Trophée Mille,
a national and international
cooking & service contest
Reims - France
14th edition / 2024-2025
*The taste of transmitting
Transmission - Excellence - Sharing
More than a competition, it’s an adventure!
With the support of the Grand Est region, the Trophée Mille is a contest which highlights the young apprentice cooks through a competition full of human and sharing values, between the greatest Chefs of today, and those of tomorrow.
The goal of this meeting?
To enhance the talent and motivation of the apprentices and students, who are passionate about cooking, and transmitting the benevolance and experience of the great Chefs to the younger generations.
A contest open to all
Sponsored by Chef Philippe Mille and organized by the Mille & Un! association, the Trophée Mille is open to young students and apprentices from France and around the world. Visit the various selections to find out how to register.
4 national selections, 1 international final
Each year, France, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic organise their national selection to choose the team that will have the opportunity to represent their country at the international final in Reims.

A tribute to the products and their producers
Producers and cooks are closely linked in gastronomy. This is why this relationship is put in the spotlight each year with 4 mandated local products for the candidates to work with.
Through the various dishes made during the contest, it’s an actual tribute to the wealth of the Grand Est (France) region’s gastronomic patrimony.
During the Trophée Mille France, the imposed local products are referenced in the “Carré des Producteurs”, a label created by Chef Philippe Mille bringing together the producers working alongside him.
The Trophée selections outside of France also proceed to the choice of their own mandated local products.
Since its start in 2010, the Trophée Mille had:
23
producers
who saw their products being highlighted within the dishes
429 candidates
of all nationalities who participated at the contest
16
countries
from all corners of the world, which joined the adventure
254
jurors
MOF*, MAF* and starred Chefs who rated and supported the young candidates
